Porsche Centre Hatfield is proud to have been selected as a Porsche Classic Partner. Porsche Classic covers all Porsche model generations that have been out of production for ten or more years, up to and including the 996 generation 911 and 986 generation Boxster.
Whilst all Porsche Centres are qualified to work on classic Porsche vehicles, Porsche Classic Partners undergo additional training at the factory in Stuttgart to ensure that their technicians are proficient in all elements of service and repair whether it be a 356, 944 or a 911.

It is our privilege to be able to showcase this 911 2.7. First registered in 1976 at a Porsche Centre in Los Angeles, the car has only ever had one owner and has maintained its original factory underseal. Considering the age of this 911, it has accumulated a very low mileage of just 18,705 miles.
Equipment: 15-inch Fuchs alloy wheels, black leather with perforated inlays, paint to sample, electric windows and sunroof, competition steering wheel, rectangular fog lights, headlight rims in body colour and black trims.Discover more

We are delighted to present our 2016 Porsche Classic Restoration Competition project, a 928 S Coupé. Last year, Porsche Centre Hatfield, in conjunction with M&A Coachworks, fully restored the 928 S as our entry into the competition. Over the course of last year, the team worked tirelessly to bring the much neglected 928 S back to its original state as a phenomenal sports car.
The Porsche Classic Restoration Competition encourages official Porsche Centres from around the UK to bring an unloved Porsche car back from the brink. The theme of the 2016 competition celebrated ‘40 years at the front’, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the launch of the first ‘transaxle' car from Porsche, the 924.
The restoration project is a fantastic showcase of the capability and specialist knowledge of our service team. Porsche Centre Hatfield’s next restoration challenge will be a Porsche 914.Discover more
Currently on display in our Classic Corner is our Porsche 914 restoration project. The 914 has been neglected for decades and has suffered from extensive corrosion. With the last service documented on May 12 1981, the 914 was the ideal Porsche for our team to undertake as a restoration project. Learn more about our project and keep up-to-date with each stage of the restoration as we bring the 914 back to its former glory.Discover more

Tony has over 20 years experience in the automotive industry working for Alfa Romeo, BMW and Porsche.
Having been with Porsche Centre Hatfield for six years, Tony snapped up the chance to join the classic team upon its official recognition as a Porsche Classic Partner. Tony said “I prefer the simplicity of the older cars and my favourite part is the smell, the unburnt fuel and worn leather, beautiful! My favourite classic Porsche is the 959, it was on my walls for many years as a child and I had lots of models of it growing up, such a beautiful car and it was at the forefront of many technologies.”

Regardless of mileage, you should change the engine oil of your classic Porsche once a year as short trips are particularly detrimental to the oil. Frequently starting the engine when it is cold causes more fuel, combustion products and moisture to get into the oil.
Porsche Classic Motoroil has been specially designed by Porsche to suit the specific characteristics and demands of an air-cooled flat engine to ensure optimal performance.Discover more
