On Tuesday 26 March 2019, Porsche Centre Hatfield was delighted to welcome over 500 guests to our 911 preview event.
The new 911, coupé derivatives, the 911 Carrera S and 911 Carrera 4S, were presented by our Centre Principal, Dan Jones, and the Managing Director of Porsche Cars Great Britain, Marcus Eckermann.
With an ultra-modern design - instantly recognisable as a 911 - this latest incarnation, now in its eighth generation, continues to be the perfect everyday sports car. The new 911’s horizontally opposed engine is both more powerful and more efficient than ever. The enhanced 3.0-litre, flat-six turbocharged engine unit now delivers 450 PS, and with the optional Sport Chrono Package and Launch Control, it sprints from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds.*
Guests enjoyed a live music performance with drinks and canapés served throughout the night. As a Porsche Classic Partner, guests were also treated to a stunning display of the previous generations of the 911.
