On Thursday September 2nd, Porsche Centre Hatfield were delighted to host a customer event at the renowned Millbrook Proving Ground where guests were able to put their choice of Porsche, which included the stunning new Taycan Cross Turismo, through its paces on a selection of tracks including the alpine, high speed bowl, handling circuit, and even try out launch control on the one-mile straight!
The test tracks at Millbrook Proving Ground are some of the finest available commercially anywhere in the world. Unavailable to the general public and custom-built to simulate the world’s toughest terrains, they provide an uncompromising test resource which gave us the ability to showcase the Porsche range in a way we could not normally demonstrate.
What’s more, with Millbrook’s extensive experience in working with big blockbuster feature films, there was even the opportunity to “location spot” as customers drove round the tracks which added an extra element of interest to the day.
The event was extremely successful and we’re already planning more customer demonstrator events at Millbrook in 2022.

*Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp . For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
