Mark’s first ever job was with Ford Motor Company as a Design Engineer, a job which included a year working for the Jaguar Formula 1 Team. Since then Mark has worked his way up the ranks in Sales, Aftersales and general management roles. Having spent 13 years at Mercedes-Benz, Mark joined Porsche Centre Hatfield at the end of last year.

Mark said “I have had a strong passion for the Porsche brand for many years, especially for the classic models, having owned a 1981 928 as my first Porsche. I am very proud that our Centre has the status of a Porsche Classic Partner.”

Richard Greenfield

Aftersales Manager

Richard joined Porsche Centre Hatfield in September 2016 as our Aftersales Manager having spent the last previous years at BMW and 14 years at Mercedes Benz in Aftersales Manager positions. With over 30 years experience in the automotive industry, Richard relishes working with classic models as it recaptures the period when he first started in the industry; the days before modern technology shaped the driving experience.

Tony Suckling

Classic Service Team Manager

Tony has over 20 years experience in the automotive industry working for Alfa Romeo, BMW and Porsche.

Having been with Porsche Centre Hatfield for six years, Tony snapped up the chance to join the Classic Team upon our official recognition as a Porsche Classic Partner. Tony said “I prefer the simplicity of the older cars and my favourite part is the smell - the unburnt fuel and worn leather, beautiful! My favourite classic Porsche is the 959 - it was on my walls for many years as a child and I had lots of models of it growing up. It is such a beautiful car and it was at the forefront of many technologies.”

Simon Coath

Classic Technician

Upon leaving school Simon worked at three independent Porsche garages from 1995 until 2003 with a the 911 2.7 RS being the very first Porsche car Simon worked on.

Since joining Porsche Centre Hatfield in 2003, Simon has worked his way up the ranks as a Porsche-trained Technician through the Bronze and Silver levels, before finally receiving the prestigious Gold Certification in 2011. Simon went on to become a Classic Technician after receiving Porsche Classic Training in Germany in 2015.
